How long have you been djing?

What influenced you to get into house music?
I grew up listening to House Music in New York during the 80's When the Paradise
Garage was popular. I went to clubs that played disco when i was a child with my mother she was a total club person.
Who were some of your influences way back when?
The Whispers, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Donna Summers
Who are some of your influences today?
Naked Music I love Miguel Migs He makes beautiful Music...Little Louie Vega,
Stevie Wonder, Prince, There are too many to name
Who is the godfather of house music?
Eh don't want to get into that
How do you feel about dj's who do not have good mixing skills; but the crowd
still jumps up and down because of who the dj is?
They are just drunk they don't know any better. The more DJing becomes
Commercialized the more you will get that...as far as the mixing skills the
dj is probably drunk too...I don't think that if you are a well known dj
and u can't mix it's because your a wack dj, now if your song selection
sucks then THAT IS A PROBLEM!.. hell by the time u actually get anywhere
in this industry you've probably lost 50% of your hearing anyways so
sometimes your mixing isn't as good...as long as the music sounds good
thats what matters...
What is your favorite city to play in and why?
HOUSTON TEXAS, folks are so laid back there! and cool you know they have a
good time they don't fight they are pretty cool folks in the south and they
are loyal...if they like you they'll bring you back :)
If not living in LA, how was your experience in Los Angeles?
Never dj'ed there before...
