Interview:
BusOne MSK I started in 1991, I still paint from time to time but not as much as before. Q- Why did you start? Out of boredom.
Q- What was you favorite writing experience? Q- What was your craziest/worse experience? One time when I was painting a billboard and left my arm fell off, i was like damn, gkae was like whoa, and i was like ouch, and gkae was like... Q- Has graff changed in your eyes?
It seems that a new style has taken over l.a. the problem is that most of the new graff looks the same. it's like kids start writing and just adopt this style from the kid down the street and are happy with that. i wish these new writers would try to be innovative and show us something we can appreciate rather than the same bullshit as everyone else.
Well I don't think that my era is "old school" yet but my era is all I really know. As far as I can tell these kids aren't much different than we were. assholes like us, rude like us, pissed like us, pompous like us. Face it we are all assholes and we know it, these are just the "new" assholes. Q- I know this question gets debated a lot (at least with old schoolers) but who(m) do you think had the most impact in the LA scene?
I have no fucking idea
I really think that the jackson 5 could have used a little more props don't ya think.
Hell no its not a part of getting up. yea its nice to see your shit on the net but I have never considered it a way to "get up". the internet is cool because it allows writers work to be seen all over the world. but if it was a way of getting up then new graff dorks could paint fucking pieces in their backyard and send em' in. there is no getting up there.
From what I have seen the work is really good but i don't know much about it.
I think that cannibals will slowly infiltrate our fine scene if we don't put a stop to these bastards. fuck a cannibal!
I will support graff 100% only if we stop the cannibals before it's to late.
Q- Anything else to add? End Interview- |
